Police seek public’s assistance in robbery investigation
The North Bay Police Service is seeking the public’s help in an ongoing robbery investigation.
Shortly before midnight on Tuesday, June 27th, 2017, an unknown male entered a convenience store on Marshall Avenue, armed with a metal lawn ornament. He proceeded to threaten the clerk and demand money. The clerk turned over cash from the register. The suspect then fled the area southbound on foot. The clerk, who was not injured, immediately called 9-1-1 to report the crime to police.
Police searches of the area were met with negative results.
The suspect is described as:
- A white male;
- approximately 6’0 tall and heavy set;
- in the 30s to 40s age range;
- wearing a lime green t-shirt and jeans; and
- with a white t-shirt concealing his face and a red shirt on his head.
