17 drivers ticketed for speeding on Algonquin this morning

Targeted traffic enforcement

The North Bay Police Service’s traffic enforcement officer, working together with platoon officers, conducted a targeted traffic enforcement for 45 minutes this morning, specifically targeting drivers for speeding in the community safety zone on Algonquin Avenue in North Bay. Seventeen drivers were issued tickets for speeding in the 40 km/hour zone, with the highest speed registering at 73 km per hour.

Drivers are advised that tickets for speeding are doubled in community safety zones.
