The North Bay Police Service is currently investigating a number of reports of damage to and thefts from vehicles.

Sometime between Feb 15th and 16th Brookes St No damage to vehicle. Taken: loose change and sunglasses
Sometime between Feb 15th and 16th Cassells Street Window broken. Taken: cash
Overnight between February 18thand 19th Sunset Blvd Window broken. Taken: loose change
February 19th, sometime between 6 a.m. & 11 a.m. Sunset Blvd Window broken. Taken: sunglasses & loose change
Sometime after 2 a.m. on February 24th Worthington Street Window broken. Taken: purse
Between Feb 22nd & 25th Jane Street Window broken. Taken: cash.
Overnight between Feb 24th & 25th Gladstone Avenue Unlocked vehicle. Taken: wallet, CDs
Overnight between Feb 25th & 26th McIntyre St E Rock thrown through vehicle’s window. Taken: purse, wallet, prescription glasses and charger. Discarded wallet later located on the street at Main St. E. and Fisher.

Public notice

Vehicle owners are reminded to always remove valuable items, such as cash (including loose change), wallets, purses, mobile phones, GPSs, sunglasses, and tools, and to then lock your vehicles when leaving them unattended.

Report crime

If you witness a crime in progress, such as a person walking from vehicle to vehicle checking door handles, call 9-1-1 to report the location and time you witnessed the suspicious activity and to report the description of the individual(s) involved to police.
