Two Burk’s Falls men face break-in charges

On Sunday, following two separate break and enter investigations, North Bay Police arrested and charged two men.

Nicholas Roland Lauriault, age 19, of Burk’s Falls was charged with:

  • One count of break, enter and commit theft; and
  • One count of break and enter with intent to commit an offence.
  • One count of break, enter and theft; and
  • One count of break and enter with intent to commit an offence.

Wyatt Mark Scheuneman, age 19, of Burk’s Falls was charged with:

  • One count of break, enter and theft; and
  • One count of break and enter with intent to commit an offence.

It is alleged that on Saturday, December 24th, 2016 at about 8 p.m., the two accused entered the gated property of a business located on Birchs Road, and removed and took auto parts from two parked vehicles.

It is also alleged that on Sunday, January 8th, 2017, the two accused entered the gated property of the same business. Shortly after 2 a.m., while on general patrol, North Bay Police saw them on the property, where they were both arrested.

Both accused were later released from custody with a court date scheduled for February 14th, 2017.
