Motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian

On Thursday September 15th at 8:08 p.m., North Bay Police were dispatched to McIntyre Street West near Cassells Street, to investigate a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian.

The car, whose female driver was travelling northbound in the centre lane of the one-way street, struck an 85-year old female pedestrian who failed to use the marked crosswalk at the traffic lights to cross the street. The pedestrian was transported to hospital with minor injuries.

No charges were laid.
