Man faces charges following B&E investigation

Yesterday, following an investigation into a report of a break-in at a North Bay residence in August 2016, which included forensic analysis of items seized as evidence, North Bay Police arrested:

John Joseph Alex MacIsaac, age 41, at his North Bay residence and charged him with:

  • One count of unlawfully in dwelling; and
  • Three counts of theft under $5000.

On Sunday, August 28th, 2016, at approximately 1:30 p.m., North Bay Police were immediately dispatched to a vacant North Bay residence following a call from the property owner, who had arrived to do maintenance on the premises and, from the driveway outside, witnessed an unknown man inside the home. The man fled the scene before police arrival. Police were unable to locate him at the time. Left inside the home were numerous items, including some that were consistent with thefts from vehicles.

The accused was released from custody with a court date scheduled for November 22nd, 2016.
