Results of today’s targeted traffic enforcement
On Monday, we asked Twitter followers of @NorthBayPolice to vote for where they think the North Bay Police Service should conduct its targeted traffic enforcement this week. We listened.
Following the results of the Twitter poll, the North Bay Police Service’s traffic officer, working in partnership with patrol officers, conducted a targeted traffic enforcement on Fisher Street from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. this morning.
The results are as follows:
- 29 speeding tickets issued (the highest speed was 78 km/hr);
- three 72-hour notices issued for documentation (drivers have 72 hours to show police their insurance slip or driver’s licence).
