Police seek public’s assistance in sexual assault investigation

The North Bay Police Service seeks the public’s assistance in a sexual assault investigation. In the early morning hours of Saturday April 9th, 2016, following a party that took place in a residence located between Landsdowne Avenue and High Street, an uninvited and unknown male entered the unlocked residence and sexually assaulted a female resident.

The suspect is described as:

  • an Aboriginal man in his 20s;
  • 6 feet tall, with a thin build;
  • with short dark hair and sparse facial hair; and
  • wearing a dark black jacket and dark jeans at the time.
