North Bay man faces domestic-related charges
Following an investigation into a report of a domestic dispute between a man and a woman, North Bay Police arrested a 44-year old North Bay man at their shared residence and charged him with:
- One count of forcible confinement;
- One count of assault; and
- One count of mischief.
It is alleged that on Monday December 21st, following a heated argument between the accused and the 38-year old female victim, the accused prevented her from leaving their residence. In her attempt to free herself from the situation, the accused physically assaulted her before she was able to leave the home. The accused then went back inside and proceeding to cause damage to their shared home.
The accused, whose name the North Bay Police Service has withheld to protect the identity of the victim, was held in custody for bail.
