Pedestrian struck by school bus
On Tuesday November 10th, 2015, at 8:28 a.m., North Bay Police were dispatched to the scene of a collision at Cassells Street and Second Avenue West, involving a school bus and a male pedestrian.
The man sustained injuries and was transported to hospital by ambulance.
Neither the school bus driver nor the student passengers on board were injured. Police are currently attempting to reach the parents of each of the students on board to inform them that they are all safe.
The investigation continues.
11:47 a.m. UDPATE: The male pedestrian, a North Bay resident in his late seventies, is currently in stable condition at the hospital. The heavy early morning fog had lifted by the time this collision occurred and was not a factor. The investigation continues.
