Holiday shopping? Lock it or lose it!
With the goal of encouraging drivers to always lock their vehicles and to never leave valuables in plain view, the North Bay Police Service joins police partners across the province in the annual Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police’s Lock It or Lose It awareness campaign.
“We ask everyone to help prevent theft from vehicles in our community by taking the extra few minutes required during the busy holiday season to remove valuables from view, especially new purchases stored in parked vehicles at shopping malls,” said Chief Paul Cook, North Bay Police Service. “Always get in the habit of locking your vehicle wherever it is left unattended and at any time of the year.”
