Over Thanksgiving weekend, the North Bay Police Service responded to 261 calls for service, and arrested and charged four people with the following offences:
- One person was charged with one count of criminal harassment;
- One person was arrested on a warrant, charged with one count of possession of a credit card and one count of use of a credit card, following an investigation into an incident that occurred between September 16th and 17th, 2015.
- One person was charged with one count of breach of Officer in Charge undertaking; and
- One person was charged with one count each of breach of recognizance and breach of probation.
North Bay man charged with criminal harassment
Shortly after 7 p.m. on Sunday October 11th at police headquarters, North Bay Police arrested and charged a 54-year old North Bay man with one count of criminal harassment.
It is alleged that, following the end of their relationship in early 2014, the accused failed to respect his ex-girlfriend’s request that he stop attempts to see and communicate with her.
The accused was released from custody with a court date scheduled for October 20th, 2015.
In the interest of protecting the identity of the victim, North Bay Police will not be releasing the name of the accused.
