Domestic Violence Stats for the month of September 2015
Over the month of September 2015, the North Bay Police Service responded to 114 domestic-related calls. As a result of police investigations into these complaints, 22 people were arrested and charged.
18 men were arrested and charged. The charges were:
- 13 assault
- 1 assault with weapon
- 4 mischief
- 1 theft under $5,000
- 6 utter threats
- 2 criminal harassment
- 12 breach of release orders
- 1 forcible confinement
- 1 trespass to property
Four women were arrested and charged. The charges were:
- 2 assault
- 1 mischief
- 1 utter threats
- 8 breach of release orders
