Swearing-In Ceremony for Cadet Alexandre Fay

On Friday morning, the North Bay Police Service will be hosting a swearing-in ceremony for Cadet Alexandre Fay who recently returned from Ontario Police College, following his 12-week basic constable training.
“We look forward to celebrating this important milestone with family and friends of Cadet Fay who will officially be known as Constable Fay after Friday’s ceremony,” said Chief Paul Cook, North Bay Police Service. “We wish him a long and rewarding career with us and welcome him into our police family.”
The public and the media are invited to attend the swearing-in ceremony which will take place Friday August 14th at 10 a.m. in the lower lecture room at police headquarters. Speakers, in order of appearance, will be Mr. Dennis O’Connor, Chair, North Bay Police Services Board; Cst. Denis Levasseur, President, North Bay Police Association and Chief Paul Cook, North Bay Police Service. Mr. Peter Leckie, City Solicitor, will also be present for the official swearing in.
Cadet Alexandre Fay grew up in Corbeil, was a student of École Secondaire Catholique Algonquin and graduated with a combined degree/diploma in Criminal Justice (Policing Stream) / Police Foundations from Nipissing University and Canadore College.
