– PUBLIC SAFETY ADVISORY – POLICE SEEKING FOR TWO SUSPECTS – Possibly Armed and Dangerous

(NORTH BAY, ON) – Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) North Bay Detachment, with the assistance of North Bay Police Service and the Military Police, are presently investigating a home invasion which occurred at approximately 4 a.m. on August 30, 2015 at a residence located on Songis Road in Redbridge, Ontario.

A short time after this incident was reported, officers with the North Bay Police Service stopped a motor vehicle that contained four occupants in the area of Hornell Heights which was believed to have been associated to this ongoing police investigation.

When the car was stopped, two of the occupants fled on foot and remain outstanding at this time while the other two were taken into custody.

The outstanding suspects are described as:
• tall
• thin
• wearing black coloured clothing.

These suspects pose a threat to public safety and should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone who may know of the whereabouts of these wanted suspects or who may come into contact with the suspects should not approach them. Instead, contact the police as soon as possible by calling
9-1-1.
