Longboard skater struck by a vehicle – Police seek public’s assistance in investigation

North Bay Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the male driver involved in a collision with a longboard skater.

At approximately 10:15 p.m. on Monday 24 August 2015, the male driver of a small, two-door red pickup truck was travelling eastbound on Wyld Street. A male teenager was riding a longboard skateboard and proceeded to cross the eastbound lane where he was struck by the vehicle. The driver stopped to check on the teenager who told him he was okay. Both left the scene without sharing information about each other.

North Bay Police were later contacted and are looking to speak to the driver of the pickup truck. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Constable Jennifer Dix at 705-497-5555.
