North Bay man faces charges for trafficking marijuana

On Tuesday, July 28th at approximately 2:20 p.m., the North Bay Police Service’s Street Crime unit observed a suspected drug trafficking incident take place between two men on the street at Main and John. Both were arrested on the scene shortly thereafter.

Following an investigation, North Bay Police charged Kenneth Luke Ross Stephens, age 53, of North Baywith:

  • One count of trafficking marijuana;
  • One count of possession of property obtained by crime under $5000; and
  • One count of possession of marijuana under 30 grams.

The accused was released from custody with a court date scheduled for August 28th, 2015.

The second person arrested, a 43-year old North Bay man, was charged with possession of marijuana and released from the scene on an appearance notice.

As a result of the search, North Bay Police seized a small amount of marijuana, a digital scale and $150 in Canadian currency.
