North Bay man accused of trespassing

North Bay Police were immediately dispatched to a residence north of High Street at 2 p.m. yesterday (Wed July 29th) following a report of a man who had just entered a residence of people unknown to him while they were home. It is alleged that the man locked the door behind him, told the residents someone was chasing him and then asked them to call 911, which they did.

Following an investigation, North Bay Police arrested the 29-year old North Bay man and transported him to headquarters. The accused was released with a provincial offence notice under the Trespass to Property Act.
