More graffiti

Several properties in North Bay have been the target of graffiti tagging, including this recent activity (captured in photos below) that took place on the back of a vacant building located in the retail shopping area on Algonquin Avenue between Hwy 17 and Champlain Street. This incident was reported to police yesterday morning.

The North Bay Police Service reminds graffiti taggers that leaving your mark on buildings, sidewalks, signage or other property without permission from the property owners is a criminal offence.

Anyone with information about who is responsible for this and other incidents of graffiti vandalism in North Bay is asked to contact the North Bay Police Service at 705-497-5555. For those who wish to remain anonymous, there are three ways to contact Near North Crime Stoppers. Call 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), text the word “Nipper” plus tip information to CRIMES (274637), or submit a tip online at nearnorthcrimestoppers.com.

Members of the public who witness property damage as it’s happening are asked to call 911 immediately to report the description of the suspect(s) and the location of the occurrence.
