Domestic violence stats for the month of June 2015

Over the month of June 2015, the North Bay Police Service responded to 66 domestic occurrences. As a result of police investigations into these complaints, 12 people were charged.

Eight men were charged with the following criminal offences (# of times charge was laid):
• assault (7)
• mischief (1)
• uttering threats (1)
• possession of a controlled substance (1)
• breaches (5)

Four women were charged with the following criminal offences (# of times charge was laid):
• assault (2)
• assault with a weapon (1)
• mischief (1)
• breaches (3)
