Traffic Stop Leads to an Impaired Charge

(NORTH BAY, ON) – On December 7, 2014, at approximately 2:05 a.m., a member from the North Bay Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment was on general patrol on Highway 94, Municipality of East Ferris when he stopped a vehicle after he noticed it weaving in its lane.

As a result of police investigation, Stephen TAYLOR, age 39, of Astorville, Ontario, was charged with Fail or refuse to provide breath sample contrary to section 254 (2) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

He is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in North Bay on December 23, 2014.
